Joe started his career in broadcast journalism and took his first gig as an on-air personality in Grande Prairie shortly after graduating from SAIT. Joe moved through the radio industry as a producer, and salesperson, before transitioning to
social media when it became apparent this was where businesses would have to be, to be seen. As a professional emcee, PA announcer, and voiceover artist, he’s hosted thousands of events in his 30+ year career in the public. Joe’s a Dad, artist, Flames fan, and can most often be found on summer days swinging a club on the golf course. “Do what you love, love what you do.”

Jo’s a Mom, and Bon Jovi super-fan, and always has at least one business book on the go. “Doubters, disbelievers, get out of my way. Baby you can sleep while I dream.” Bon Jovi
Ali is originally from Southampton, Ontario, just north of Toronto and now loves living in Blackfalds with her dog, Charlie. She came to Central Alberta in 2012 to be closer to her brother and his family who had relocated to Red Deer the year before. She says being an Auntie is one of life’s greatest pleasures as Auntie’s get to say, “yes”. She has a background in psychology and sociology as well as an extensive knowledge of pop culture from the 80’s. For 13 years she was an on-air radio host including a short stint as a news anchor, which was where she first started to grasp and explore the significance of social media. Ali joined the Jo(e) team after her mind was blown during a crash course. She’s now a Jo(e) trainer, speaker and manages multiple channels for Jo(e) clients. You can find Ali on most social channels though she freely admits her first love will always be Facebook.
Mike has been with the Jo(e) Team for just over a year (2021), with a background in broadcasting, sales and marketing. Previously, he had a 14 year career in radio. He's got a black lab named Poutine who quite possibly is both the worlds worst guard dog and biggest mooch! Mike has a deep passion for charity work and is a voracious reader.

Mitch Danser may have a background in dance, but currently he makes his money working as a social media contractor here at Jo(e). His love for communications sparked during his two-year journalism diploma and was fully ablaze during his BA in Professional Communications. He grew up in Red Deer, AB and while he moved to Calgary and later to Victoria, life somehow brought him back to Central Alberta. When he's not coming up with witty one-liners for his social media accounts, you can find him climbing a mountain, painting, or coming up with witty one-liners for his precious goldendoodle, Ivy.
Emily is a 22-year-old living in Lacombe, Alberta, and originally from Grindrod, B.C. She graduated from the Media Studies and Professional Communications Program is 2021 through Red Deer College. Her personal goal is to have her hair be every colour of the rainbow, at least once!
Michelle was born in Red Deer but grew up in St. Albert. She always knew Red Deer would be her landing spot once she moved back after completing high school. Although no formal education, she has always been a strong worker bee! She worked at Tony Romas for 13+ years before the pandemic shot her down a fantastic new path. Michelle took the SMMS course with Jo(e) Social Media and when the opportunity came to be a part of the team, she jumped in both feet first, and it has opened many doors since! She loves bringing joy and smiles to everyone that she meets and has developed quite a contagious cackle over the years. She has double jointed elbows, will never act her age, and is a mom to 3 of the coolest kids.
Josh grew up on the sunny beaches of Hudson Bay, SK where the mosquitos are the side of falcons, and the internet was just a myth. He relocated to Red Deer in 2006 where he received his journeyman ticket as an electrician... or as one of the weirdos he used to work with called it: "valence electron wranglers". Growing sick of working away, he returned to college in 2017 where he received his diploma in Media Studies and Professional Communications. Upon completing his practicum, he found work as a beer salesman and that's now how he earns a living! In his free time, he plays in punk bands, runs a record label, runs a local zine, sit on the CAT board of directors, hosts a radio show, and hangs with family. The Jo(e)'s visited one of his classes in college and made the "mistake" of telling the class they could attend their session for free and Josh took them up on it! Now we are stuck with him for better or for worse. 😉 It's working out so far!
